Her 1973 LP "Preach On Sister, Preach On!" is a breathless, thirty-one minute comedy routine - and a Bawdy Cheerful Exclusive! Be forewarned, to say that this is a filthy-mouthed act is a gargantuan understatement. Yet that's also part of its charm. So is LaWanda's delivery, which is deceptively melodic. When she cries out, "Yes, it 'tis!" the "'tis" comes out as "teee-uuus!"
