Voila! Glamour is Zizi Jeanmarie! Yet sadly, she just departed in a flurry of feathers for the heavens above. A megastar in the ballet world, she also conquered Broadway and Hollywood. But her true love seems to have been French cabaret and stage shows, where she put on a series of sumptuous extravaganzas, with costumes - and posters, like the one below - designed by her devoted friend, Yves Saint Laurent.
She was also an ultra-chic chanteuse and recorded this album when she was eighty years-old. And, yes, she sounds fantastic. Viva le Zizi, indeed.
